Just a note about report cards and conferences that are coming up this week. Please remember that this is the first of three reporting periods this year. Many of the topics and subjects student's have encountered this term will be ongoing throughout the year. In many areas, students will have ample opportunities to practice and grow. Although some grades may seem low, as students continue to grow and develop, they will improve. Remember that many of the grades are based on a limited amount of work and provide more of a snapshot of the beginning of the year.
I am looking forward to meeting many of you this week and next during parent-teacher conferences. I always enjoy the chance to connect and find ways to ensure success for each student in my class. To ensure equal access to all parents, please be on time for your conference and remember that we only have 20 minutes to talk. If you know of a conflict in your time or something comes up, please don't hesitate to contact me and let me know. Again, I am excited to meet with each of you and work together for the benefit of your child.
