I hope everyone had a lovely, fun holiday! It's hard to believe that it is now 2010 (however you say it) and we are already a third of the way through our year! There are so many exciting things happening in our class this next few months. Just to let you know, we are starting a new science unit very soon called, Structures of Life. There are some great activities on the Foss website that students can do to prepare for the vocabulary and concepts in the unit. On this page, there is a link to this website. Just look under Structures of Life to find the activities. Also, Mrs. Olsen, our student teacher is here Monday and Tuesday every week until April 5th, when she will take over full time teaching for 6 weeks. She is studying at UW Bothell and doing a wonderful job already in our classroom! Thanks for your continued investment in your child's education. It makes a huge difference!
