Science and things...

Just an update on our science unit. We now have plants, crayfish, and beetles. The kids are very excited about our study. If you check out the Foss website linked to this page, there are learning activities and vocabulary available under Structures of Life. Also, the crayfish love to eat worms and up to this point they have been on a mostly vegetarian diet. Please feel free to have your kids dig up some worms, put them in a plastic container and bring them to school to feed the crayfish. Sounds gross, I know, but what a learning experience! As always, please feel free to stop by and visit the Adair class zoo! It's lots of fun and you never know, you might muster the courage to pick something up!
